A WELL ORDERED DAY…
The day should begin with prayer/meditation for 10-15 minutes…
Take 5-10 deep diaphragmatic breaths inhaling through your nose 5-10 seconds and exhaling through your mouth 5-10 seconds using your abdominal muscles, letting them rise as you inhale and crunching them in as you exhale.
Exercise at least 30 minutes: walk, run, jog, bike, swim (find your bliss) and do one or a mix of these 6 days per week. Three days per week, do some progressive resistance exercise for 10 minutes or more.
Eat a Plant-Based Diet, making vegetables 75% of your plate and lean protein 25%, daily. Snack on nuts and seeds, and if you need something sweet, melon, dates, raw organic honey and Green Leaf Stevia are great options. Protein sources such as eggs, wild salmon, sardines, grass-fed beef or wild game will be best. Avoid the white dust: sugar, flour, and refined salt. Unrefined sea salt is good and contains over 50 minerals our bodies need. Drink half your body weight in ounces of good water. By adding the juice of a lemon, it becomes “alkaline water,” which helps keep your body’s PH neutral (7.2-7.25). Keep your foods below 55 on the Glycemic Index Chart and below 10 on the Glycemic Load Chart. You can have chocolate if it is 70% cocoa or more; organic red wine for resveratrol, but if you like white, just put 3 or 4 frozen red grapes in your glass of wine. If you drink coffee or tea, be sure to buy organic to avoid a boatload of pesticides.
Keep a positive attitude….the glass is always “half full;” this will boost your immune system.
